NAFIS Conference and Awards 25 and 26 November 2025

The NAFIS Conference and Awards will take place online on 25 and 26 November 2025. It is a great opportunity for Family Information Services to connect with key policy makers, civil servants and partners in the early years sector. The Conference is held every autumn and is open to local authorities who are NAFIS members.

Registration is now closed.

Delegates will hear from Department for Education (DfE) colleagues about the new Best Start in Life Strategy, the expansion of Family Hubs, and the new digital parent hub. They will hear about plans to improve take up of funded childcare entitlements for disadvantaged two-year-olds, and the universal 15 hours for three- and-four-year-olds. Colleagues from Ofsted will give an update on latest changes, the new grading and evaluation system, and future plans.

There will be speakers from UK charities who work with families – including Save the Children, Working Families and Coram Life Education – as well as interactive workshops.

You will have an opportunity to network and discuss topical issues with colleagues from the whole NAFIS membership at the FIS Forum on 25 November.

The NAFIS Awards winners will be announced at the end of the conference on 26 November.
