Parent Champions Awards 2024

his May, we celebrated our annual Parent Champions Awards. The awards are an opportunity to recognise the volunteers' achievements and the valuable contributions of Parent Champions schemes across the UK. Once again we were blown away by the quality of the nominations we received and the impact that Parent Champions are having in their community.

First phase of funded childcare expansion rolled out

This month, the first phase of the potentially game-changing expansion of funded childcare rolled out across England. Amid problems with troublesome temporary codes, and competition for childcare places, eligible working parents of 2-year-olds can now access 15 hours per week of funded childcare, during term time.
